Foreword

Of all the millions of veterans who served in this war, in combative or non-combative roles, each was left with some sort of impression due to the war. For me, it was the absolute total absence of planning for the next minute, much less the next hour, or days.

Imagine, if you will, being in such an environment for a year or more under these conditions as well as the many other perils of this war.
