Mount Conness, viewed from North Peak - 1981

This two dimensional view shows the impressive cirque linking Mount Conness and North Peak. A patch of grey ice is visible below and to the left of the summit. The snow chute we ascended is the left one of the two larger chutes above the ice patch. The bergschrund and rock ledge are also visible. Hundreds of people have no doubt ascended this route over the years; for each it is an adventure to some degree.
