As usual, I have also provided a trip map (BIG map, 800K!).
This Trip Report covers a brief, but highly strenuous and enjoyable backpacking trip, completed from July 18-20, 2003. I joined WLD, JDSmiling, and Karinn, at their camp at Cottonwood Lake #3, above Lone Pine, in the Eastern Sierra. Our goal was to climb Mount Langley. As it happened, only one of our party summitted (WLD), but we all made it over 13,100 feet. We had a great time, and got to meet some very interesting and nice people. We were joined on Saturday by Snow Nymph, Snow Dude, and Asandygal, who climbed Mount Langley the day we left (Sunday). They all made it to the summit (Yeah!!)
Please view the Mount Langley trip reports from WLD, Asandygal and Snow Nymph.
Photo Notes: The camera on this trip was my Olympus D-380 digital model. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
