This map shows my 1995 ascent of Pyramid Peak in Desolation Wilderness, in the Tahoe region of California's Sierra Nevada. Accompanying me was Jay Gardner. Our trip began and ended at the Lyons Creek Trailhead. It was a great hike, but later in the day we learned the pitfalls of doing a long hike after the end of Daylight Savings Time.
