As you watch the swirling water, you can
see all sorts of stuff floating by, including trees and quite
a bit of litter picked up from the river bank, as the water level
rises. This is nature in action, helped by upstream reservoir
releases. The levee bike trail, seen by the guardrail at top,
is a wonderful recreational resource and a commute route to downtown
Sacramento.
